Brandy Held graduated in 2005 from UW-Whitewater
with BA in piano performance and a psychology minor. At
Whitewater she studied classical piano with Myung Hee
Chung (a graduate from Julliard) for 5 years and
graduated in 2005. She has also been studying jazz/blues
and improvisation for the last 5 years. She offers beginning
to advanced piano lessons (all ages and styles) as well as
beginning guitar lessons.
Brandy has been a music teacher for 7 years and has been
running her own studio for 5 years. Ms. Held has played the
piano for 20 years and she is also an experienced guitarist. She
has also been a songwriter and accompanist for 17 years. For
the past 8 years she has also enjoyed being the church pianist
for Community of Christ the Servant in Whitewater, Wi. She
is the keyboardist for the folk/jazz group Ziegler and Wells and
is currently working on a rock solo album due out on January
5th, 2010. You can find her in the Madison area playing open
mics.

arranging music for pop/rock concerts
and lead roles in musicals such as
Nunsense, King and I, Grease, and
Bye Bye Birdie. She has performed
for several weddings, baptisms, and
other occasions. Currently Miss Held
has been a rock/pop vocalist for 16
years. In the past, she also performed
with the baritone for 8 years in jazz,
concert and marching bands. She has
won several band awards including
the Semper Fidelus Bandsmen
Award given by US Marines. She
also has had experience teaching
preschoolers general music education.
